LOS ANGELES, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- The death toll in Northern California's massive wildfire climbed to 29 after six more bodies were recovered from the fire zone on Sunday, making it the deadliest wildfire in the history of the western U.S. state of California.

Authorities expected that number of the deaths from the so-called Camp Fire to grow as officials continue to search the area ripped through by the massive fire.

According to the Butte County Sheriff's Office, five of the victims were found in homes and one was found in a vehicle.

The Sheriff's Office also mentioned that more than 200 people are unaccounted for.
