JAKARTA, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- A Lion Air flight from Jakarta to Pangkal Pinang crashed on Monday morning with 189 people onboard, said the head of Indonesian national search and rescue officie.

The cause of the crash is not immediately clear.
