Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 21 – Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia Hun Sen arrived in the Republic of Turkey on Saturday for a working visit from 20-22 October 2018, at the invitation of the Government of the Republic of Turkey.

As planned, Cambodia and Turkey have signed a number of Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding regarding cooperation in the areas of culture, education, sport, agriculture, water resources, tourism, investment, and mine action.

Cambodian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn and Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu signed Agreement on Culture and Education Cooperation.

Minister Prak Sokhonn and Turkish Minister of Youth and Sport Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoglu signed Agreement on Sport Cooperation.

Minister Prak Sokhonn and Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli signed Agreement on Agriculture and Water Resources Cooperation.

Cambodian Minister of Tourism Thong Khon and Turkish Minister of Mevlut Cavusoglu signed an Agreement on Tourism Cooperation.

Cambodian secretary general of the Council for the Development of Cambodia Sok Chenda Sophea and Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank signed an Agreement on Promotion and Mutual Protection of Investment.

Cambodian Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs Ministry and Turkish Deputy Miniister of Defense signed Memorandum of Cooperation between Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA) and Turkish Mine Action Center.
