New York, USA (FN), Sept. 29 – Cambodia will re-open her Embassy to Bulgaria after a temporary halt due to political situation in the receiving country, Prime Minister Hun Sen told his Bulgarian counterpart Boyko Borissov on 28 September 2018 in New York, USA.

Boyko welcomed Prime Minister Hun Sen’s initiative and invited the Strongman to pay official visit to Bulgaria.

Prime Minister Hun Sen highly commended Bulgaria’s role in the past for assisting Cambodia after she liberated from Pol Pot's genocidal regime, and for taking part in peacekeeping mission in Cambodia after the Paris Peace Accords.

The two leaders also agreed to continue strengthening the cooperation on economy, investment, trade and tourism.
